If you’re currently stuck for music, Spangled have just released their new single ‘Nosedive’, which will almost certainly have you flinging yourself head first into. Spangled formed in March 2019, growing up with the sounds of The Stone Roses, Oasis, and The Smiths, all of which combined with the modern sound of the DMA’s. Spangled’s music is the beautiful combination of when English Indie-pop music meets early 2000s classic Rock. People may have questioned whether it works, but it definitely does.
Spangled formed whilst joking in a pub about how they should start a band. A few months later, and no one is joking anymore. The bassline at the beginning has that enticing feeling of early 2000s pop-punk music, and all of a sudden, you’re struck with the energetic vocals, feel-good guitars, and a drum beat that makes you want to jump around and go mental.
