If you’re currently stuck for music, Spangled have just released their new single ‘Nosedive’, which will almost certainly have you flinging yourself head first into. Spangled formed in March 2019, growing up with the sounds of The Stone Roses, Oasis, and The Smiths, all of which combined with the modern sound of the DMA’s. Spangled’s music is the beautiful combination of when English Indie-pop music meets early 2000s classic Rock. People may have questioned whether it works, but it definitely does. 

Recorded in a hybrid of studio and home sessions, ’Turmoil’ is a stormy guitar ballad powdered by the lustful vocals falling from the lead singer's silver tongue. Its counterpart, ‘Peculiar Faces’ pairs the similarily husky echoed vocals with a bashful guitar that takes a life of its own in the bridge.
