Its counterpart, ‘Peculiar Faces’ pairs the similarily husky echoed vocals with a bashful guitar that takes a life of its own in the bridge. Driving the listener from ambivalence to introspection, the lyrics cut through the strings to call for a celebration of your flaws. Following in the footsteps of the DMA’s- the Australian band who stoked the eternal fires of Oasis back into the mainstream- Spangled are bringing the Britpop back to its home shores.
