“The euphoric melody is then amplified and the drumbeat fills you with an emphatic joy, creating a beautiful blend of lofi and pop sounds. Storm: Season just get better every time.”

Bad weather and sleeping go hand in hand, and as do Storm: Season and their new single ‘Catch Z’s’, which ironically is the ideal song for those rainy days. Taking inspiration from Electro Pop, Indie rock, Anti-pop and lofi, the Birmingham-based band have crafted their own style and are reaping the benefits from it. While most bands attempt to fit into certain sounds, Storm: Season refuses to be categorized and allows themselves to fully express their artistic freedom. Fans of Frank Ocean, Tyler the creator, Twenty one pilots, and Gorrilaz will go absolutely crazy for these guys.

Their latest single ‘Catch Z’s’ begins like the opening of radio transmission, encapsulating the listener with the soothing guitar and vocals in the background, tempting you in, whilst ultimately all held together by the graceful bass line. The euphoric melody is then amplified and the drumbeat fills you with an emphatic joy, creating a beautiful blend of lofi and pop sounds. Storm: Season just get better every time.
