Blue Gap’s newest single “It’s Alright” is a soundtrack to your late night thoughts.

“If you are fan of dreamy indie-pop, or if you are in need of a soundtrack for a twilling-filled evening, “It’s Alright” is a must for your playlist.”

Blue Gap’s newest single “It’s Alright” is a soundtrack to your late night thoughts.

The Norwegian duo Blue Gap know how to create atmospheric music that will seep into your very core. Having previously played in bands such as Bedford and Art&Commerce, Ruben Oma and Christian Myhren Fonneland are now striking it out on their own. “It’s Alright” is their fourth ever single and looks forward to their debut EP coming in late 2021. Depicting the struggle of insomnia, this track aims to capture the loneliness and stillness of late night ruminations.

Clocking in at just under 3 minutes, the tune so tightly arranged that not a single note is out of place. From the opening pulsating drums, to the listless vocals and melancholy rhythmic guitars, it gently penetrates the mind and does not let go. As the song progresses, more layers are added – both musical and emotional – creating an atmosphere that is both ethereal and impactful.

If you are fan of dreamy indie-pop, or if you are in need of a soundtrack for a twilling-filled evening, “It’s Alright” is a must for your playlist.
