Join the protest with The Rezner and ‘Students Of The UK’.

Hailing from Cornwall, The Rezner burst onto the music scene with their rambunctious guitars, anthemic choruses and crazed live performances. Now based in London, these indie-punks have impressed industry tastemakers such as Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and BBC Introducing’s Sarah Goslings with their “in your face, dynamic, vivacious records”, and have since gone on to perform a number of festivals, including The Isle of Wight Festival and Leopallooza, as well as the main stage of Boardmasters Festival.

“Our generation is on its way” proclaims Stone in the anthemic chorus of ‘Students Of The UK’. Embodying the visionary dissent of student movements worldwide, this track is a rock’n’roll ode to a lost generation determined to have their voices heard. Lead by energetic, driving guitars and punching drums, this moshpit-perfect tune also features a quieter, reflective bridge that unifies the band’s voices in a moment of collective lamentation. Nevertheless, the acrid pessimism of the refrain conveys a sense of defiance, indicating that things, in fact, are not “all the same” for either The Rezner or their youthful listeners.

Like the protest bands of yesteryear, The Rezner bring a renewed sense of urgency to a pressing problem and take a moral stand against the current times.
