Light and bouncy, ‘No Feelings’ opens with the elastic rhythms of syncopation. It’s a credit to his production background that Quietlove – otherwise known as Brendan DiStefano from Toronto – can so effortlessly glide between musical genres without losing sight of the overall picture. Alt-pop vocals are paired with undulating percussions that take the listener to the different recesses of his creative process.
