Zelha Makes her Trajectory Clear with Her Newest Track ‘Empty Calls’
'Empty Calls' is the latest track from the budding London based singer songwriter Zelha. Raised in Belgium, Zelha cites established artists such as Lorde and Haim as her influences, which can be recognised in some of the elements of this song. The track, produced by Jack Gourlay, is an edgier take on the pop genre with more melancholic, haunting notes and heavier drums than you would expect from a pop debut. The track tells a story of the awkward feelings that can occur when someone likes you, but you don’t feel the same way. The lyrics, written by herself, Ella Tobin and Bette, effectively navigate this frustration and feeling of helplessness.
Rey’s latest single ‘Chapter Book’ will charm many a listener into unruffled tranquillity.
Hailing from Long Island, Rey (aka multi-instrumentalist and filmmaker Alex Cherney), has produced yet another uplifting collection of songs to be released into the world this February, in the form of a five-song EP, ‘B’S and Seeds’. ‘Chapter Book’ is the perfect introduction, with its exploration of the interconnectedness of personal relationships, the natural world around us and personal, emotional healing.
Lindsay Reamer is stepping out from the shadows with her first single from debut EP, ‘Lucky’.
A lesson in overcoming self-doubt, this bass-driven track is the first of four to be released from Reamer’s previously locked chest. Giving in to the urge to create, this Philadelphia based singer-songwriter’s melancholic debut is a lovestruck stream of consciousness you can’t help but absorb. Led by a stable drum track, it grows with the echoes of unrequited love hidden within decisive chords.
Frances Baker is here to make her voice heard with her self-titled debut EP.
Recorded between her bedroom and The Vibe Inn, Nashville, this collection’s five tracks expand far beyond the walls of their creation. Finding her sound within a trippy concoction of indie and folk, Baker takes influence from the likes of Maggie Rodgers, Frank Ocean and Aretha Franklin to create something unique and powerful.
Parker Graye’s Newest Addition ‘Before You Leave’ Will Make You Fall in Love and then Break Your Heart.
Country fans will be glad to know that Parker Graye has followed up her successful debut single ‘Do Over’, which boasted 25,000 organic streams in its first 5 weeks after release, with her equally heart-breaking country pop track ‘Before You Leave’. The self-released, Vancouver based, singer-songwriter was labelled the ‘Next Big Thing’ by Casey Clarke and featured on The Casey Clarke Country Countdown in October 2020. This promising introduction to Parker’s creations confirms to her listeners that she was deserving of this recognition.
8KAWAII creates an intoxicating rainbow of sound in her new single, ‘colors.’.
As the third track released by the musician alternatively known as Bethany Lambright, it dives headfirst into the vast realms of psychedelic indie pop. While taking inspiration from the likes of Tame Impala, this track is far from a carbon copy of what’s come before. Standing instead as an evolution, it takes the genres signature synths and repetition and transforms it through Chinese whispers. Fusing the sound with her own bold soul.
Parsley Palette and Ellie Dixon have concocted the only track you need to sweeten up a dark winters day.
Get ready to experience the most relaxed sugar high of your life through Parsley Palette and Ellie Dixon’s latest single, ‘Sugar Rush’. Both mellow and rich, this is a soundscape of Parsley Palette’s own making. As a delicate balance between Dixon’s sweet vocals, bubbling beats, stretched synths and floating guitar, it’s a celebration of the multi-instrumentalist talent Parsley already holds so prominently at the age of 19.

Einsam Means Solidarity, And This Is What Is Needed When Going Solo
The German word Einsam translates into English as ‘Solidarity’, and this is exactly the mentality needed when setting out on a solo project for yourself. A producer and songwriter from Bristol, the work of Einsam has been long in the pipeline. Einsam spent four years living in Vienna working on this project, and now he is really reaping the benefits of the past four years as he releases his most recent single. Maisyn embarks on a new chapter of musical evolution, gifting us her sublime debut single ‘Cool Girl’ in the process.
The track shows Maisyn embracing all the parts of herself that she may have tried to ignore in the past, as she tells the story of the abiding conflict between vulnerability and resistance that plays out within all of us. Her melodic vocals, reminiscent of the likes of Taylor Swift and Joni Mitchell, bear the slogan ‘I can’t be a cool girl honey, cause I want you to love me’, as she channels pure emotional vulnerability and turns her back on the worn out idea of ‘playing it cool’. Her flair for introspection and compassion lend themselves to authentic song writing and in opening herself up emotionally, Maisyn invites the listener to do the same.
