Tara Bridget is a really hot prospect, and she is only going to get bigger and better.

Eighteen Again was recorded at her home, at her desk, in her attic. The authenticity is immaculate, and the retro recording style only further fuels the 80s vibes. ‘Eighteen Again’ is about an age left behind, it is the coming-of-age song that mourns the end of being a teenager. It’s not saying that the party is over, it’s reconciling with the learning process of being a teen. These emotions are made evident throughout the song by the reflective synths and nostalgic basslines. Tara Bridget is a really hot prospect, and she is only going to get bigger and better.

Palace Cats are certainly ones to keep your eyes on for the duration of 2021.

Palace Cats fourth single ‘Honey’ is entirely self-produced and is a modern tale of unrequited love, depicted through the honey-like sweetness of oscillating synthesizers, smooth guitars, and an 808 drum track. ‘Honey’ features their most infectious choruses to date, whilst the song shows further development of the band’s compositional skills.

Gabrielle Ornate is making waves with her debut single ‘The March of the Caterpillars’.

This fantastical fable articulates notions of respecting where you’ve come from and honouring the genesis of life, taking the listener on a dive down into an ethereal world of bohemian pop/rock. There is an almost ineffable weightiness to the track in its sporadically rhythmic percussion and tempo changes, that draw the listener further and further into Gabrielle Ornate’s sonic sphere.

Ignoring all of society's signs to stop, NAYTiiVE’s sophomore track, ‘Redlight’, is a smooth storm of energy.

Babybl.u Launches her Solo Venture with a Sweet-Sounding Single ‘highs + lows’

Babybl.u has introduced herself to listeners as a solo artist, having previously been in the band Oh La Kanada, with her first single ‘highs + lows’. She accurately describes the track as “modern angry girl music”, as we are immediately plunged into a heavy hitting, synthy backing track that stays consistent in its high energy throughout. Babybl.u herself boasts soft and soothing yet adamant vocals, citing her influences as stars such as Lorde, Florence + The Machine and Stevie Nicks.

Warm and inviting, Aidan & The Wild’s latest single brings the world into focus.

Entitled 'Running', it slips by like a summer breeze. Worshipping the world we pass through in an ambient cacophony of timeless folk. Unlocking the track's emotional capacity in an open tuning, this Eindhoven-based musician enchants all who listen through honey-soaked vocals which softly nestle into the song's soft acoustic nature. Built from layers of guitar and wobbling banjo riffs to become a marathon of melody joined in praise. Putting honesty at the heart of both its writing and production, this track is beautifully reminiscent of both early Fleet Foxes and Ben Howard.

Mauvey teams up with the Berlin-based production duo, French Pirates for the euphoric single, ‘I’m The Ish’.

Indulging in a sonic landscape distant from Mauvey’s typical hip hop, the London-based artist explores explosive pop. An inspirational monologue of confidence, this track preaches self-love within an emblazoned blanket of synths, electronic beats and displaced sonic snippets. Moving from song to a rap-filled bridge, it’s all you need to feel empowered regardless of your situation when listening.

Calling for an answer, Mia Madden’s new single ‘1-800-RUNAWAY’ will see the whole world pick up on her talent.

In what feels like a hyper-modern incarnation of MARINA, this New York artist takes indie pop and propels it in new directions through an avant-garde spirit. Growing out from its reverberating core, percussion blossoms from an undergrowth of synths and graceful lyrics which muse upon a stagnant relationship. Coming into full bloom for an insatiable outro, this track reminds us that the best things can’t last forever with a blanket of sonic texture which turns everything that lies below into a dance floor.

Hayes & Y show their obvious talent to the world in an intoxicating new single entitled ‘The Times’.

Smoothing out the edges of Manchester’s traditionally rough music scene, this four-piece band have continued to carve out their own reflective, pop-heavy sonic landscape within the northern paradise. Reaching new heights, this agonisingly short single stands tall through its delicate interwoven layers of vocals, vibing bass and dizzying guitar. Reconstructing itself throughout, the single's core layers are joined by smooth synths and backing vocals which work to both entrap and enthral your body.

Koalra’s blissful new single, ‘Torture’, is a reimagining of what it means to be a punk band in this day and age.

Loose in rhythm but soft in texture, this Portland band's music is far from torturous on the ear. Made from a pillowy cloud of echoing guitar and vocals questioning the listener's dependence upon the band, they take heavy sonic inspiration from the likes of Wavves and Youth Lagoon to create a track both head fuzzing and brain buzzing.

Reflecting on a love that pushes you onto a knife-edge, Naipia's latest single ricochets off the walls of the bare warehouse it was written in.
