Kaylyn Marie draws a conclusion to her sophomore EP, Forget-Me-Not, with the cathartic new single, ‘Finally’.
Led by a decisive beat perpetuated by the guitar, this track is a dream made reality. Finding the bliss of self-acceptance, this explosive Americana anthem heals the wounds of abusive relationships past. From first picking up the guitar as the phrase “Kaylyn has long fingers. She should play guitar” permeated her mothers subconscious, Kaylyn Marie has found her calling.
The siblings of Silver Cup are back to overflow your senses in new release, ‘Wonderful’.
Led by Hadley’s exquisite vocals, this single is primed to break your heart of glass with its reflections on the insecurities and isolation of youth. Paired with soft synths and murmurations of bass, the track moves from its lullaby-state into a whirlwind of lo-fi samples which ultimately fail to break through their wall of distortion.
Juze’s new single ‘Just Okay’ confronts lacklustre relationships through the slick metallics of techno pop.
‘Just Okay’ was inspired by former relationships and the feeling of being under-appreciated: a situation in which “one-sided efforts are seen as the standard”. “I need to leave you far behind”, sings Juze, “And you will not learn, you have no concern. For you, it’s just okay”. The track has a particularly polished feel to it, something no doubt obtained through an expansive career in the music industry.
Volleyball are back with a transcendent new single, ‘Nosediiv’.
Pulling you into their signature dream state, this almost completely instrumental track is the reprieve your body is craving. Reformulating throughout the track itself, it mirrors a memory changing and morphing over time. Texturally shedding its skin within its brief two-and-a-half-minute lifespan, the track welcomes the death of love and the start of something new for the four-piece.
Burrowing themselves deep into your brain with its unrelenting energy, Law of All are exploding into 2021 with their new single ‘Pushit’.
A track inspired by the Salt-N-Pepa single of a similar name, the Osla-based band find power amongst the allure and, albeit, bittersweet resolution of a one night stand. Fuzzy and unwavering in their pursuit to push their sound to the next level, the single interweaves its heavy riffs with ruthless vocals.

Shake yourself awake with Lost Woods’ return single “Sleep”.
Lost Woods are back with a new line up and fresh, rousing musical material. “Sleep” is their first track since 2019, and boy is it punchy. This new chapter of the band’s musicianship is marked by the addition of brothers Lucas and Miles Sly to the band, as well as a reaffirmed commitment to narratively intriguing and musically soaring indie-rock. With their new material, the Adelaide natives are seeking to bring out the best of their previous work, while injecting it with fresh inspiration and dynamism.
Gabrielle Ornate ricochets through the rainbowed depths of boho rock in latest single, ‘Do You Feel?’.
Questioning the humanity of all who listen within its uncontrollable energy, this track is the puppet master. Pulling your strings with its expressive melodies which immerse and expand within the planes of the psychedelic. Made from an analogue explosion of sounds, its introspective lyrics explore all that is within us in an almost mythical way.
A shimmering folk-pop ballad, ORIAN’s “Jewellery Box” is an ode to sentimentality.
The Berlin-based Irish multi-instrumentalist ORIAN has been performing music for over 10 years, developing a style deeply rooted in guitar-driven pop-sensibility. His newest track, “Jewellery Box”, is the result of his song writing collaboration with the Grammy award winning Erik Alcock – the man behind such legendary acts as Eminem, Celine Dion and Pink!. Building up on the success of his previous collaborative single, “What Pulls You”, ORIAN has now embraced a more personal, stripped back approach for his folky ballad, “Jewellery Box”.

Welcome everyone to the party that is Pattern Pusher. The kingpins of the South West live music scene.
Welcome everyone to the party that is Pattern Pusher. Pattern Pusher are an energetic funk-soul three piece from the South West, and not only this, Sarah Gosling of BBC Introducing South & West titled them as the kingpins of the live music scene. Together, they create uplifting, inspiring and optimistic music that is smashing the boundaries in a world that is crying out for positivity. Prior to the UK’s initial lockdown, they had just won the Glastonbury Pilton competition, played in front of 8,000 people, supported Wolf Alice and smashed the festival season, but now the world is opening up again, we’re expecting to see a lot more of these guys. And that is excellent news.
French quintet Coral Pink question the complexities of age with permeable dream pop hit ‘People I’ve Known’
‘People I’ve Known’ explores the melancholy of aging, candidly fronting the insecurities of a fading youth through the casual embrace of synthesizers. Pairing echoing vocals with backing melodies of psychedelic pop has a mellowing effect, playfully drifting between genres as an ode to the rich tapestry of adolescent emotion. Indie rock percussion flits in and out of reverberating dream sequences, rejecting traditional form in the pursuit of an authentic sound.
Rebecca Sichon releases indie pop hit ‘Our Garden’
There’s a sense of movement to the track, with the emphatic pounding of drums underscoring playful melodies above. At its heart, ‘Our Garden’ is the story of a toxic relationship. “You stole my thorns inside”, sings Rebecca Sichon, “Just to expose them”. But much like gardens thrive in the right conditions, the track is hopeful for the restorative powers of time. Rebecca Sichon has impressively assured vocals for a nineteen year-old: cascading riffs echoing through a wonderfully textured resonance.
Fube showcases eclectic artistry with bohemian pop offering ‘Lemon Tea’
Uplifting and eccentric, ‘Lemon Tea’ is a euphoric benchmark for what alternative pop should be. Canadian artist Fube takes inspiration from an wide-ranging range of sources, combining them in interesting ways to create a satirical alternative to the everyday. “Lemon tea, Anomaly, Be my best friends, Coffee beans” he sings, in part homage to the form of spoken word.
Devin Reardon releases intimate indie-folk ballad ‘Ireland Song’
For a track written in the depths of isolation, you’d expect a sadness to ‘Ireland Song’. Instead, this indie-folk ballad is a melodic depiction of personal strength, finding comfort in the healing powers of music, and an optimism in the inspiration behind it. Having experienced a particularly painful break-up after graduating from college in the US, Devin Reardon packed his things and moved to Ireland for a fresh start. However, what was planned to heal quickly became the opposite as Covid-19 hit, rendering County Wicklow a more permanent excursion.
