Having reaped the commercial successes of the Canadian Top 40, their upcoming EP – ‘I Swear I’m Okay’ – marks their first release as lead vocalists, and a notable change in direction from chart music.

You may know him from his super successful YouTube channel where he plays with musical genres and produces mashups of popular songs, or maybe you’ve even heard the preview of his newest track, ‘Turn Around’ on Tik Tok – after all, it already has over 1.2 million views. But Blanks isn’t about to stop there; his European tour scheduled for November is already sold out at a number of locations, a testament to the love of his fans. 

Listening to Adult Prom’s “Hope You Are Well!” is like finding inner peace. Once, Demelza were a bunch of students in Birmingham’s Selly Oak, now they are being lauded with praise by BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Their fusion of indie-rock and 80s anthemic tunes are serving them well, ensuing a sound that is both instantly recognisable and enormously enjoyable to listen to. Their debut single “Little Me” has found early success with its heartfelt lyrics and riff-driven sound and the buoyant “Would It Be Enough” is certainly a worthy follow up.

During the lull of the pandemic, the band began to explore a more introspective direction, resulting in their newest track “Anhedonia”.

Hong-Kong born producer, mix-engineer, multi-instrumentalist and overall bad ass KAIYI is something to behold. Armed with duct tape and towels, she recorded her debut track “Spotlight” in the bathroom of her NYC apartment in an effort to find a new way of self-expression. The result is spellbinding – overriding any sense of initial doubt she may have had and glowing with promise.

JANKOVSKY has been in the music production business for over a decade, touring the world and working across a variety of genres with some of the music industry’s biggest names. When the world came to screeching halt during the pandemic, JANKOVSKY didn’t remain idle for long, turning what he calls his “very DIY” personal project into one of the most explosive musical releases of the year. Inspired by his passion for 80’s sci-fi and its signature sounds, JANKOVSKY’s music is thoroughly cinematic and sonically expansive, knocking you backwards with its raw power.

A single which holds your hand through a twilight of synths before bursting forth in a vibrant explosion of texture, Arin balances his intimate lyrics of new love with twisting and fluctuating beats that reach for your eardrum in a profoundly unique way.

A project launched by a shadowy figure named Callum two years ago, this one-man band is the ocean of calm you’ve been waiting for. Lingering at the edge of your senses from its very first note, this track washes through you with the slow movement of time. Directed by synths and guitars which reflect off reverberating vocals, you are left refreshed in response to its tales of love lust and loss.

As first-hand accounts of World War Two fade out of existence, Sofia Dragt works to cement them within music. Pulling you into a world of two parts, she tells the tale of the bombing of Wageningen from the perspective of those in the sky and those below, namely Herman van Brussel (a Dutchman who grew up during the war). A single which sits within a larger project organised by Wageningen45 in collaboration with the Dutch broadcaster Omroep Gelderland, this composer, producer and artist stitches the tale's soul into the soft piano strings that move in partnership with her crystalised voice.
