Hyooman burst onto the scene with indie rock debut ‘Half Brain’
There’s a lot to be said for a debut single. As a band’s first impression on the world it sets the tone for an artist’s creative tastes and abilities. If ‘Half Brain’ is anything to go by, exciting things lie ahead for Minneapolis-based Hyooman. Full-bodied guitar riffs collide gloriously with emphatic drums in celebration of classic indie rock.
Embark on a journey of self-discovery with Saint Samuel’s debut EP.
Previously known as Sam McCoig, Saint Samuel is an emerging Virginia-based genre-defying artist. Throughout the pandemic, Saint Samuel has been hard at work writing his eponymous debut EP and rediscovering himself as an artist. Unable to get to the studio, he was forced to rely exclusively on himself and his own environment, resulting in a very personal and congruent musical output.
Fall head-over-heels in love with Josh Savage’s newest track “In Too Deep”.
Gearing up for the debut of his sophomore album Another Life, Josh Savage has released his newest track “In Too Deep”, an ode to the all-consuming and slightly unsettling feeling of falling in love. Hot on the heels of his much praised single “Young Fools”, it deals with a similar subject matter but in a more stripped back way, reflecting Josh’s contemplative side and providing new depths to his musicianship.
“Good Times” are ahead with Michael Lane’s newest, blissful folk track.
Michael Lane is not your usual folk artist. A former US soldier, he has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, coming up against some of the darkest moments in our present history. The Norwegian duo Blue Gap know how to create atmospheric music that will seep into your very core. Having previously played in bands such as Bedford and Art&Commerce, Ruben Oma and Christian Myhren Fonneland are now striking it out on their own. “It’s Alright” is their fourth ever single and looks forward to their debut EP coming in late 2021. Campfire Social’s whimsical “Everything Changed” is a battle-cry for better times.
A quirky indie-pop collective, Campfire Social make danceable and upbeat music with slightly melancholy overtones – the kind that would make your inner emo kid crack a reluctant smile. Now the band are ready to release their second EP Everything Changed, and this time, it will be pressed into a beautiful blue 12” vinyl. With their songs just as colourful, the EP promises to be a journey through the band’s hearts and minds, filled with an optimistic perspective on even the most difficult of subjects.
Valley Sixteen’s opens up her soul in new single, ‘Borderline’.
A song lodged in the young artist's heart ever since she left her home of Cape Town for Frankfurt, it takes its place in the world as her most honest song to date. Claiming her neurodiversity with pride, Valley's fierce lyrics join forces with a jungle of decisive textures. From its cyclical riffs of unforgettable percussion to its expansive undergrowth of synth, she releases her pain within a communal chorus whose cries you can't help but lend your voice to.
The Great Leslie are really living up to their name in the sense that they really are pretty great.
The Great Leslie are really living up to their name in the sense that they really are pretty great. And they’re once more proving this with their wicked new single ‘See You Again’ that will ensure that you will want to see these guys over and over and over again. ‘See You Again’ is their first release in 2021 following their Summer House Studios live session back in January. It is an immense burst of infectious indie pop, reminiscent of the glory days of the Noughties era. ‘See You Again’ is both nostalgic and uplifting and the perfect summer anthem that we’ve all been crying out for.
Ten Easy Payments are back with a hazy sophomore single, ’Things Can’t Stay the Same’.
Rectifying all your emotional debt, this new single from the Southern Californian four-piece is a psychedelic wonderland of indie. With clouds of guitar that glide through your imagination under the direction of its lyrical gravitational force, the track grows to overtake your senses. Calming all fear of change with the bliss of its mantric chorus.
Bristol’s best kept musical secret is back after a year-long hiatus with new single, ‘Supposed to Be’.
Known for her silky vocals, Chrissie Huntley is emerging from the silence of lockdown with the first of many tracks to be released from her closed turned studio. Ditching her singer-songwriter roots for something altogether more jazzy and minimalistic, this track is a serenade to young love. Strengthening the track’s delicate lyrical breeze with its gentle keys and a bass which lingers in your periphery, Huntley breaks your heart with every run of vocal, only to mend it again in the next line.

Nashville based pop artist Katie King has released her debut EP titled ‘Divine’, and she is exactly that.
Nashville based pop artist Katie King has released her debut EP titled ‘Divine’, and she is exactly that. After selling out her first show last year, Katie decided to create an album, and we’re so, so glad she did. ‘Divine’ is a project born out of an extreme and chaotic time. As Katie empowers herself, and all women around her, Katie has tapped into her muse and rediscovered her divinity. Each song on her latest project contains efforts from a huge team of creatives, meanwhile Katie King’s individual sound has matured into the quality work of a fully established artist. Katie King is a seriously exciting talent.
Like a rising phoenix, Parlour Suns are back with their luminous track ‘Embers’.

Driven by strong vocals and ardent energy, their musical storytelling is relatable and thoroughly resonant, speaking to thoughts and emotions we all struggle to express.
Sean at the hotel release crazy new single ‘I’m The Montparnasse Tower’
We all like to think we have a vivid imagination, but perhaps no one has a crazier imagination that Liverpool-born art-pop, self-proclaimed might I add, weirdo, Sean at the Hotel. Sean has returned with his latest single written from… get this… from the point of view of the Tour Montparnasse in Paris. The Tour Montparnasse in Paris is a much maligned skyscraper in the city centre that doesn’t fit in with its more elegant surroundings, the song sees the tower imagining itself as a human struggling to fit in at a birthday party. So whilst you may think Sean is a little bit crazy, there is a method behind the madness.

It seems there’s no shortage of submissions, with ‘Wasteman’ standing in triumphant defiance of unchecked toxic behaviours.
